Brian Walshe was arraigned Wednesday on charges that he murdered his wife, Ana, and dismembered her body. Police allege he conducted Google searches including how to dispose of a body and how long DNA lasts. Dr. Michael Welner, a forensic psychiatrist and chairman of The Forensic Panel, says the searches show an “extreme level of detachment” to eliminate feelings of connectedness to one’s spouse.
