Coming Film Studies Indoctrination of Next Generation of Terrorists by ISIS & Others

New York - Director Wayne Kopping, producer Shoshana Palatnik and ClarionProject.org have announced a new crowdfunding initiative aiming to complete the documentary, KiDS: Inside the Terror Factory.

The film takes the viewer inside the world of terrorist organizations to expose the devious means with which children are manipulated and even brainwashed to embrace unspeakable atrocities. ISIS and other such terror organizations are cultivating child soldiers as a key component of long-term military planning. KiDS features disturbing stories of children ensnared by the allegiances of parents who sacrifice them because of their own zealous commitment to the movements. The development of child soldiers, along with breeding as a strategic choice, underscores approaches at the level of governance, where respect for human rights is unnecessary because of the low expectations, passivity and fear of the rest of the world.

KiDS features interviews with numerous experts from across many disciplines, including forensic psychiatrist Michael Welner, M.D., chairman of The Forensic Panel and architect of the Depravity Standard and Micah Lakin Avni, founder of Stop Incitement. Mr. Avni, who is CEO of the financial institution Peninsula Group, Ltd., founded Stop Incitement to rid social media of its application to inciting terror, hatred, and violence after his father was murdered by terrorists.

A major crowdfunding effort is underway to expedite completion of the film. The ambitious project introduces the viewer to how widespread a practice the indoctrination of child soldiers continues to be.

Dr. Welner notes, “Mr. Kopping, Ms. Palatnik and the Clarion team have a fearlessness for engaging topics that prove to be too uncomfortable for daily discussion. But any mental health professional or individual interested in social justice must consider how child conscription consigns a life of trauma to the child and to others as one becomes a pristine and uninhibited killing machine. Cambodia killed millions of its own people with child soldiers. The most destructive leaders of our world adapt these schemes to a more refined degree, so we must study what is being done to guarantee that such extreme child exploitation never happens again. ‘KiDS’ is a fantastic project that I have hoped to see brought to light for a long time, and I am proud to be part of those involved in its teaching. I urge others to support Clarion’s effort to alert the world to a horror that must be eliminated.”
