GENERAL
RULES AND DEFINITIONS

The
Forensic Panel ("TFP") has adopted information management
guidelines that define our customer relationships. These
guidelines disclose the privacy policies for TFP news,
information, online seminars, publications, research
and affiliate web sites. These sites are collectively
referred to in this policy as "Service."

CHANGES
TO THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT

TFP
may change, add or remove portions of this Agreement
at any time, but if it does so, it will post such changes
on the Service, or send them to you via e-mail or postal
mail.

Your
continued use of the Service now, or following the posting
of notice of any changes in these operating rules, will
indicated by of such rules, changes, or modifications.

TFP
may change, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the
Service at any time, including the availability of any
Service feature, database, or content. TFP may also
impose limits on certain features and services or restrict
your access to parts or all of the Service without notice
or liability.

LINKS

TFP
is not responsible for the content or the privacy policies
of Web sites to which it may link. This policy applies
solely to information collected by TFP.

DATA
COLLECTION ABOUT THE USER
-
When
user registers to receive TFP Services, whether those
services are free or paid, TFP requires that User supply
full name, e-mail address, contact information, and
a unique subscriber ID. TFP also requires demographic
information (e.g. whether User is an attorney and for
what type of entity user works).

Users
must agree to the Terms and of Use applicable to the
Service for which they are registering. In some instances,
TFP also collects credit card information to bill subscribers
for premium services.

TFP
may also gather anonymous information, which may be
used by TFP or shared with third parties. This information
does not personally identify you but may be helpful
for improving the services we offer. Generally this
information is collected through "traffic data" and
may entail the use of "cookies," "IP addresses," or
other numeric codes used to identify a computer.

"Cookies"
give users a special, random ID that are small text
files, which are stored on the hard drive of a user's
computer. TFP employs cookies to recognize you and your
access privileges for certain locations on the TFP sites,
such as The Forensic Echo online journal, as well as
to track site usage. Subscribers who do not accept cookies
from the TFP sites cannot access many areas of TFP's

TFP
also logs IP addresses for systems administration and
troubleshooting purposes. (Your IP address indicates
the location of your computer on the Internet.)

If
you use a credit card to pay for a TFP subscription
or use of Service, we will retain your credit card information
in order to renew your account, in the event you elect
to renew your subscription.

USE
OF COLLECTED INFORMATION

TFP
may perform statistical analyses of user behavior in
order to measure interest in the various areas of our
site (for product development purposes). In this statistical
analyses, we will disclose information to third parties
only in aggregate form.

To
prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy,
and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have
put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial
procedures to protect the information we collect online.

TFP
may utilize the contact information you provided at
registration, such as your telephone number and e-mail
address, to contact you regarding account status, changes
to the subscriber agreement, and to confirm registration.

Using
the contact information and e-mail addresses provided
at registration, TFP periodically sends promotional
messages to its users about services offered by TFP
and other divisions within the TFP group of companies,
and notifies users of new features or changes that may
be made to TFP's services.

SHARING
OF DATA

TFP
does not share the information it gathers in a compiled
format with partners but reserves the right to do so.
Personal information about you as an individual subscriber
or registrant will not be shared with third parties,
except as follows:

TFP
may release information if it is required to do
so by law or in the good-faith belief that such
action is necessary to: (1) comply with the law
or comply with legal process served on TFP; and
(2) protect and defend the legitimate business interests,
rights or property of TFP, it's users, advertisers,
customers, sponsors, advertisers or affiliates.

TFP
may on occasion use third-party vendors to assist
it in performing its business functions, such as
mailing statements to subscribers, editing user
lists, processing data and payments, and providing
customer service. Personal information may be shared
with these businesses or individuals to allow them
to do perform their assigned functions, but is limited
to that information needed to perform the assigned
function, and may not be used for any other purpose.

Should
TFP undergo a sales, merger, consolidation, change
in control, transfer of substantial assets, reorganization
or liquidation, TFP's accumulated customer information
will be treated as an asset and, like other business
assets, subject to transfer to or acquisition by
a third party.

Promotional
Offers: Occasionally, TFP shares data collected
about subscribers with other divisions within the
TFP group of companies or third parties whose products
or services we feel may be of interest to you. Many
of our subscribers find these mail or e-mail promotions
valuable, whether they are shopping for merchandise,
taking advantage of a special offer, or purchasing
unique services. If you prefer not to receive promotional
materials from companies outside the TFP group,
you should indicate this by unmarking the designated
qualifier on your user account page.

Letters
to the Editor: If you send TFP personal correspondence,
such as e-mails or letters, or if other users or
third parties send correspondence to TFP about your
activities or postings on a TFP Web site, TFP may
collect such information into a file specific to
you. These could be included in the sharing of your
information. All submissions become property of
TFP.

Upon your request, TFP will provide you with its record
of the personal information you gave us at registration.
For security reasons, this information will only be
sent to the e-mail address on file for the subscriber
ID associated with it.

While
visiting TFP, you may chose to purchase a product or
service through one of our other provider partners.
In these cases, even if it appears that you are still
on a TFP branded site, please understand that you are
under the guidelines of the third party's privacy policy,
if they have one. TFP cannot make guarantees or warranties
as to the nature of a third party's use of your personal
information.

CHILDREN
& NON-U.S. USERS

TFP
does not provide services for children, and children
are not eligible to use TFP's premium or paid-for services.
We ask that minors not submit any personal information
to us. If you are a minor, you should use this service
in conjunction with a parent or guardian.

All
users, including those users who access TFP from a country
other than the U.S., agree that the laws of the State
of New York shall govern any dispute, include those
arising from TFP's use of personal information or otherwise
relating to privacy, as specified in the Terms of Use.

OPTING-OUT,
CORRECTIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
- Upon
request, TFP will (a) remove you and your personal information
from our database, thereby canceling your registration;
(b) correct personal information that you state is erroneous;

- CONTACTING
CONTRIBUTORS OF THE FORENSIC ECHO
- TFP
provides a proxy email address for all contributors of
The Forensic Echo. All emails sent to these addresses
will be forwarded to the contributor at their real email
address. TFP provides this proxy email for the purpose
of protecting the personal contact information of all
contributors.
